I am so sick of political parties; Democrats & Republicans, this means YOU! Political parties are a complete waste of time and yet most of us are pulled into them WILLINGLY because we are afraid of what degree our reputations would be brought down to if we didn't; if we chose to think Independently, like the idea our country was founded on. It's extremely sad to see what society and what certain influences have done to us. Certain influences meaning people who were corrupt in their ways and we still blindly look to them for desperate support. We KNOW exactly what they've done but are too afraid of losing that high social status we worked so hard to achieve, and the false pride that has built up within us, to do anything at all about it. Either that or we are choosing not to follow what the Founding Fathers believed in during the long process of our country's birth. We feel that we needn't concern ourselves with their beliefs or ideas since they are about 200 years past, and "Why should we worry about what a couple dead guys cared about?" BECAUSE THEY ARE ALMOST THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT EVER MADE SENSE IN THIS WORLD!

my name is Desiree, and I am obsessed with history as much as a teenager in the 50's would obsess over Elvis Presley. It's seriously that bad. But, I love it and I love reading about it...ESPECIALLY about the American Revolution, which is almost the only subject in history i like...enough about that though...I also like Elvis, the Backstreet Boys (yes, the Backstreet Boys), tennis, fencing, Washington, D.C., France (yum, especially French guys, I mean pizza!lol), George Washington and the marquis de La Fayette's relationship, Anna Nalick, Sherlock Holmes, time travel, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Lord Cutler Beckett, The Legend of Zorro, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Freddy Got Fingered. It's a movie, I know the title is a bit disturbing but it's hilarious! Yeah..I live in Las Vegas but I REALLY want to move to Washington, D.C. and then to France, Greece, Italy, and Spain..
